Jellyfish on the Beach

Acres of sand,
Single jellyfish washed ashore.
Are you lonely?
Will you disintegrate, or be washed back out to sea?

Scattered among the millions of grains of sand,
pebbles and stones and shells and bits of shells,
tumbled and tossed in the tumultuous and mighty waves.
Some beautiful, some plain, some scarred, some broken.
Each has it's own story.
Every one survived to become what they are now,
their own part of the universal whole.
